From the accommodation to the venue
The distance between accommodation and the Archaeological Park of Caucana (where the field activities will take place) is around 6 km. The traveling between the accommodation and the Archeological Park will be done by minibus and it is included in the registration fee.
Arriving in Ragusa
By plane -> Catania Airport (100 km from Ragusa).
From the airport to Ragusa by bus -> The duration is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. The bus from Catania to Marina di Ragusa makes two or three trips a day. Here you can book and buy the ticket: www.etnatrasporti.it
By car & ferry
By car -> You can reach the Calabria Region by car, and then from Villa San Giovanni city (Calabria) to Messina (Sicily) by ferry (https://www.traghettiper-sicilia.it/).

It’s not possible to reach Marina di Ragusa by train. You can reach the central train Station of Catania and then take the bus (for info and timetables: www.ferroviedellostato.it ).
